Full or Part time role. Remote working is fine with occasional travel to their North West offices. 

Household name Plc seeks to recruit a commercial or construction lawyer to work in the commercial team of a large legal department.

Our client seeks an experienced lawyer to support their legal team across a variety of project and business legal advice.

Responsibilities

The legal team currently support the business across a broad range of commercial and construction legal advice, some very complex. Work could therefore be scoped to your legal skills and could include any of the following:

  • Construction and engineering law and construction projects
  • Construction and Commercial disputes
  • General commercial contracting: T&Cs, consultancy, procurement, supply
  • IT outsourcing and data protection issues
 

We are looking for:

  • An experienced qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with at least 4 years PQE*
  • Well regarded law firm or inhouse experience, preferably within a similar sector (infrastructure/construction/utilities/engineering environment)
  • Significant commercial law experience in some of the above specialist areas
  • Self sufficient and able to hit the ground running
  • Strong interpersonal, commercial and team skills
  • Confident and able to work with senior management
  • Experience supporting, training and developing junior lawyers
 

Home working, part-time and flexible working all considered.

Our client will consider PAYE on a FTC or through an umbrella company.
