A leading City based engineering business
THE ROLE
This is a new opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor 2-4 PQE with a background in construction/engineering to join a well-established in house legal department.
As a key member of a well-regarded business facing collegiate team, the role will cover the following;
Drafting and negotiating construction, engineering and infrastructure contracts, consultant appointments, sub-consultant appointments, and construction documentation
Advising on general commercial contracts across the business,
Managing tender documentation for bid proposals
You will also have the opportunity to provide legal support on wider commercial issues including IT/IP matters, corporate and public sector work
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this in house role, you will ideally have a background in construction law, gained from a law firm or in house legal department. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate first rate technical and commercial skills with a desire to work in a business facing role
