Funds - 1-6PQE - International Firm - Hong Kong

This established and highly regarded Hong Kong practice is looking for an addition to its top ranked funds team. The firm is well known globally for its funds work and the Hong Kong team undertakes a broad range of work stemming from an eclectic client base (a great mix of investment banks, fund managers, sponsors and investors). The work includes the establishment and structuring of hedge funds, real estate funds and private equity funds.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in investment funds (particularly fund formation work) from a highly rated international firm. Ideally, candidates should be currently based in Hong Kong and will have local experience, but the firm will also consider lawyers coming from overseas as well (as long as a strong desire/commitment to working in Hong Kong for the long-term can be shown). The ability to speak Mandarin would be useful for this role but is not a prerequisite. The work is complex in nature and, as such, candidates should have excellent academics and superior technical capability.

The firm is able to pay its associates very well and can offer a very good package on top of the base salary.
