Housing Lawyer

Our Local Authority client is currently recruiting for a Housing Lawyer on a locum basis three months initially. The role will be remote, however occasional travel to the South West will be required on a monthly basis.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Partnering the Senior Lawyer to provide legal advice and handle Housing issues on behalf of the Council
• Handling a case load including matters such as disrepair, ASB and possession
• Representing the Authority at Court Hearings, including drafting the relevant notices and proceedings

Working hours:

• 3-4 days per week
