The Role:

You will join this highly ranked Corporate team as an Associate in the firm's Liverpool office.

Working closely alongside renowned Partners, you will be working on exciting deals for businesses ranging from SMEs to PLCs and everything in between. Your practice will be focused on M&A, but there will be the opportunity to get involved in buy-outs and buy-ins, restructures, and ECM deals.

As an Associate, you will be given the responsibility to take the lead on deals whilst mentoring and supervising a small team of Solicitors, Trainees and Paralegals who will directly assist with your caseload. This will allow you to focus on the more complex/technical matters whilst also developing your leadership and project management abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join a leading, Legal 500 ranked Corporate team in Liverpool. You will have a clear progression path and receive a highly competitive remuneration package.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Corporate Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • Experience in public and private M&A
  • You will have first-class communication skills
  • Be a commercially astute individual, and comfortable getting involved in business development
  • Able to work closely with colleagues within your team, and the wider department
