An opportunity has come up within one of Cambridgeshires most prestgious law firms for a paralegal to join the family law team.

The successful candidate will be joining a team with a top rate reputation in dealing with a broad range of privately funded family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, private childrens matters and pre/post nuptial agreements.

Previous experience of working within a family law team as a paralegal  will be required for this role. Duties in this role will be dependent on experience but may include things such as preparing documents, taking note at meetings or hearings, collating and analysing necessary documents and administration duties as required to contribute towards the smooth running of matters.

The firm enjoys a reputation as one of the strongest and most well respected multi service firms in the Cambridge area with most of their departments listed in the legal 500 and chambers guide as being leading departments. Their family law department is regarded as being one of the best specialist departments around and they are therefore regularly instructed to deal with high value work on behalf of financially wealthy individuals.

Working alongside senior fee earners within the department you will play a key role in maintaining their outstanding reputation as well as being able to continue your development in family law by working alongside some of the best family lawyers in the UK.

Your work will be rewarded with a good salary (which will be dependent on experience) as well as other great benefits such as generous annual leave, pension, private healthcare and bonus schemes.

In addition to the above you can expect excellent progression prospects within a firm that will offer a structured career path and who take pride in their approach towards ongoing training, development and the opportunities that they offer their staff. As a result of this they have a low staff turnover as lawyers that join are able to enjoy top quality work and fulfill their career ambitions within the firm.
