- We have been instructed by a leading top-tier European Patent Attorney firm to source an IP Specialist. You will undertake work including QA, at a high complexity level.
The Role
- As an IP Specialist, you will be required to work at a high complexity level in one of these teams and a medium complexity level in another. 1) Patent Support Services – PSS. 2) Patent Renewals, 3) EP Validation and 4) Trade Mark Support Services – TMSS (which includes TM Renewals).
Requirements
- Extensive experience of working in an IP support function, ideally gained within an IP attorney firm. Including:
- Excellent working knowledge of patent, design and/or trade mark formalities, ideally with CIPA/CITMA Administrator’s Certificate/s.
- Maintaining Case Records and Deadlines
- Processing official correspondence from the EPO, UKIPO, WIPO, EUIPO (RDCs and/or EUTMs) and correspondence forwarded from foreign associate firms.
- Handling and forwarding incoming correspondence from clients and foreign associate firms
- Checking and QA of above work initially processed by other individuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
