A traditional and well-established financial services organisation operating in the retail sector has strong aspirations following the appointment of a new CEO. Extra support is required from the legal team and an experienced litigator with financial services experience is now being sought. The role is varied, dealing with initial claims through to regulatory complaints with the Financial Ombudsman Service. You will look at matters that concern a financial cost to the company as well as new and interesting complaints that arise, with the aim of reducing risk. The role will include strategic elements as you feedback to the company and analyse trends. You will work on projects with a regulatory context and communicate with the PRA and FCA.
For this role you should be at least 4 years qualified and would ideally have some in-house experience either within financial services or another regulated company. Applications would also be welcome from the regulators. Cultural fit will be essential for this small and friendly team but remote and flexible working is available.
