Commercial Lawyer – Legal Counsel

Our client is an international professional services company looking for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their busy and growing in-house legal department. This is a varied and interesting role involving drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements. The position offers a genuine opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working self-starter to push their career forward.

Based in London this Company does allow for flexible or hybrid working. The working from home policy is very much centered around the mental health and wellbeing of their employees.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a UK qualified solicitor with between 1 - 6 years PQE
• Have a strong grounding in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts ideally IT / technology contracts such as SAAS, cloud, confidentiality agreements, services agreements and more
• Be able to assist and help the department on a wide range of other legal matters including, data protection, ecommerce, regulatory and compliance
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate must be able to point to strong communication and good business and commerciality skills. 

Our client envisages that candidates between 1 –64 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
