One of our large US Law Firm clients is looking for a Legal Talent Recruitment Advisor to join its London office on a permanent basis. This will position will play a vital role in assisting the Trainee Recruitment and Legal Talent Manager with trainee and associate recruitment, and will also involve working toward the onboarding, development, and retention of all non-partner associates.
The main duties for the role will involve helping with trainee and lateral recruiting; managing the full life cycle process for trainees and associates and working with the Legal Talent assistant and HR team when appropriate, implementing recruiting searches and strategies, assisting with the associate offer process from start to finish ensuring all processes are adhered to, work with the D&I team to further the Firms Diversity initiatives, assist in managing recruitment events and ensure hires are tracked and all recruitment/ careers pages are kept up to date. The role will also see the successful candidate be heavily involved with all aspects of the London trainee program from managing performance of existing trainees, properly inducting, and ensuring successful integration of new trainees into the firm, assisting with seat planning, and again promoting diversity within new cohorts. This will also extend to an active role in managing summer programmes and activities for hopeful trainees. Other duties will involve accurate data entry into the LawCruit database and Worksite- experience with these software’s would be beneficial. The successful candidate will also need to manage diaries for interviews and meetings, produce items for welcome packs, take detailed notes in meetings, collate weekly and monthly updates to post on boards and the Firms newsletter, establish and manage strong relationships with other HR teams and help with IR35 enquiries and coordinate with the finance team, as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have strong previous legal recruitment experience within a Law Firm and be well versed in using talent management applications such as VinciWorks, INN Group Portal, LawCruit and Apply For Law. The candidate should be welcoming and have strong, well hones interpersonal skills and be able to deal with senior internal and external stakeholders effectively. The role may often require some travel and the ability to work outside of hours when required. The standard hours for the role are 9:30am- 5:30pm and the salary for the role will be up to £48,000
