THE ROLE

An in house role for a Data Privacy Attorney to join the firm's global team within the Global Data Privacy Office, part of the wider Office of General Counsel.

The office collaborates with the Information Governance, Security and Risk Management, and Audit and Advisory departments to ensure Firm use of personal data is compliant with US, EU, Asian and Middle Eastern data privacy laws, and other global data privacy laws applicable to the Firm.

You will support the GDPO in advising on data sharing and data processing agreements, implementing initiatives necessary for demonstrating compliance with the Firm's Binding Corporate Rules and governance obligations, monitoring developments in privacy laws in relevant jurisdictions, and engaging with stakeholders to raise awareness of data privacy requirements and best practice across the Firm.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience in advising on EU and US data privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA and of designing, maintaining, and developing data privacy compliance programs for large international organisations, ideally with some experience gained from an in-house position

Experience of providing data privacy advice to professional services firms will be valued.
