SUMMARY:
Local Authority Childcare Locum / West Midlands / 2+ PQE / Public Law experience. This Local Authority are currently seeking an ambitious Child Care Locum who will be able to provide a range of advisory services to social care clients throughout the midlands.

JOB TITLE: Local Authority Childcare Locum
PQE REQUIRED: 2+
LOCATION: West Midlands
SALARY: £35+ per hour

THE ROLE:
Looking for a change? This Local Authority based in the West Midlands are currently looking for an experienced Childcare Locum to join them on an ongoing locum basis for up to 3-months, to commence immediately. The role will be varied and will require the successful Childcare Locum to deal with a range of matters, to include child protection matters and include pre-proceedings, care proceedings, fostering and ad option matters. The ideal Childcare Locum Solicitor must have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a similar setting in both Local Authority and Council. This role requires you to attend virtual court hearings so you must be able to do your own advocacy. You will also have the support from a dedicated Legal Assistant as well senior members of the department.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate must be resilient, hardworking, and passionate about this area of law. The appointed Locum will have excellent knowledge of public law and matters concerning the protection of children.
