Senior Transactional Lawyer, In-House

We’re looking for a highly ambitious corporate or banking lawyer with around 6 to 9 years post qualified experience to take on the responsibility of working directly with the management team of this large conglomerate of companies in the energy and metal sectors. Although based in Dubai, you will be part of the London based group legal function and report into the Head of Legal and Global General Counsel. Close collaboration with the quality legal team is expected whilst you act as a key legal advisor to the CEO and leadership team on the ground in the Middle East on restructurings, refinancings and other transactional matters, with all work being English law governed. Whilst negotiating agreements you will be expected to grasp the bigger picture and provide common sense legal advice on a wide variety of matters.

This is a highly profitable group of companies and a growing, successful business with around 35,000 employees globally. They need someone who can offer competence and trust and is a strong team player. You will need to be UK qualified and prepared to be based full time in the UAE.
