Regulatory Compliance Counsel

An opening for an Offerings and Regulatory Compliance Counsel has arisen with our client, an international technology and professional services company. They are looking for a Global Industry Legal Counsel for the Capital Markets area, with a particular focus on the EU and UK regions. The client would like someone to start ASAP and the anticipated duration is 12 months.

Within the role you will be a trusted advisor to the Capital Markets industry team and the work will cover regulatory risk analysis and advising stakeholders accordingly on higher risk offerings and services in the Capital Markets area.

Further, you will help evaluate mergers and acquisitions on behalf of the Capital Markets industry, and act as subject matter expert to the business regarding compliance topics, developments, and processes.

The suitable candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in providing services to the financial services industry (consumer and commercial industry). They must also have experience of working with international teams and in supporting a global business.

Ideally the candidate will also have strong experience in commercial, IP and data privacy as well as broader legal knowledge. Candidates from both private practice and in-house backgrounds may apply.
