Top 100 Law Firm

Bristol

Chadwick Nott have received instruction on a new unusual and interesting opportunity with a top 100 UK law firm that has a growing reputation in the market and strength and depth in both public and private sectors. They are seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join a team which deals with a variety of advisory and regulatory work across various sectors.

This firm has a strong presence in regulatory work particularly within the areas of health and safety and coporate prosecutions. This is a superb role if you enjoy variety and don't want to get tied down in any one. The role will involve a real mixture of enivronment litigation, more generalist commercial litigation, corporate prosecutions, regulatory and health and safety work. The role will also involve some care standards and advertising litigation work. You'll sit within the broader commercial litigation department for this role.

Please note that whilst you may not have expertise in all of these areas you should still consider finding out more about the role even if you have gained exposure to just a couple of these areas.

What you need:

A strong understanding of at least a couple of these niche areas of work. You'll ideally have good academics and feel comfortable working as part of a large firm. With every effort made to encourage you to develop your skills in a strong and supportive working environment you'll appreciate the chance to work amongst like minded individuals and highly rated senior lawyers.

You'll ideally have at least around 2-4 years experience under your belt and be comfortable working in a team environment. You'll also ideally be used to the following sorts of matters:

Investigations and enquiries, the conduct of regulatory proceedings both in the High Court and in statutory tribunals, disciplinary proceedings and judicial reviews. The team also advises on policy issues in the light of its wide ranging experience in the area.

*Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.
