They are looking for a HR Assistant to join the team in their Liverpool office with some flexibility of home working available - they actually won an award last year as the "UK's Best Employer for Flexible Working".
This Firm also offers a good benefits package, focused on health and well-being.
The Role - As the HR Assistant you will be joining a wider HR team of 16 that needs additional headcount to support with their success and growth.
This role involves working closely with the wider team to provide employees with a high quality HR service. Priding yourself on service delivery is key along with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Typical tasks include:
- Being the first point of contact for all HR queries
- Taking the lead on employee lifecycle administration including, pre-employment checks and referencing through to exit interviews
- Ensuring all employee files are accurate and up to date
- Monitoring sickness and absence. Identifying patterns and working with Managers on any concerns
- Involvement in recruitment activity such as placing adverts, setting up interviews and carrying out interviews with the Recruiting Manager
- Assisting in the implementation and improvement of HR systems and procedures
- Producing regular and ad hoc reports from the HR system
- Involvement in ad-hoc HR projects as required
You - will have previous HR administrative experience in a fast-paced environment within Professional Services along with:
- Excellent administration and communication skills (written and oral)
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage time effectively, self-motivated, organised and resourceful
- Proactive and professional approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a wider HR team, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
- Flexibility in approach
- Able to think creatively and generate ideas
