This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced private client and trusts lawyer to join one of the world’s leading offshore law firms, in the Cayman Islands, a major centre for international wealth management.

Professionally, you will be advising HNW international private clients and associated commercial and financial services institutions on the full gamut of non-contentious trust and wealth management work, spanning formation, administration, and regulatory considerations. This is varied and exciting work that will see you working closely with your clients, giving every opportunity to develop the kind of business relationships that are vital as you build your seniority.

You are likely to have around three to five years’ post-qualification experience, advising on high-value trust and private client work in a good law firm (onshore or offshore) or perhaps in-house within a family office or trust company. You will need to be admitted in the UK, Australasia, or Canada (for work-permit reasons).

You can expect a highly attractive low-tax salary with full benefits, bonus potential and a good relocation package including temporary accommodation on arrival. Interviews will take place over videoconference.

The Cayman Islands

A world-class international financial centre, Grand Cayman offers lawyers the opportunity to do high-quality and complex work that compares favourably with that in a leading onshore law firm. Teams tend to be smaller, so responsibility and client contact come as standard, with many ex-pat lawyers citing the unique working environment and culture as a significant advantage. Outside of work, the climate lends itself to an outdoors lifestyle whether that be diving, sailing, relaxing on the beach or enjoying a bite to eat at a waterfront restaurant. Life here is good; rarely does anyone regret making the move.

Process

Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically four to six months later. Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas and relocation, including temporary accommodation and car hire on arrival.
