THE ROLE
- The team are recruiting for a Rural Property Solicitor to work within the Newcastle based Private Client Team
- You will have your own caseload of varied rural property matters as well as assisting the Partner with more complex agricultural matters
- Type of work you will be involved in includes:
- Rural property sales and purchases
- Refinancing of farms and land
- Farm business tenancies
- Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies
- Easements over land
- As a junior lawyer, you will have direct contact with the firm's clients, and be involved in business development activities from the outset

THE REQUIREMENTS
- You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive equivalent with experience in Commercial Property matters to include sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
- You may be an NQ, or soon to be qualified Solicitor or have up to 3/4 years PQE
- Experience of dealing with agricultural and rural property transactions and knowledge of agricultural tenancies is preferred but not essential
