Court of Protection Solicitor / Associate - Opportunity for ambitious Court of Protection lawyer to make real impact in growing team. Role involves managing and leading a small team of around four fee earners so previous leadership experience would be helpful.

Role and responsibilities

• Job title: Solicitor / Associate
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: to 45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
• Reports to: Partner - Head of department
• Previous Experience: Proven Court of Protection experience from highly regarded team. Previous team leading experience would also be useful.

Court of Protection team - nature of the work

The role involves a broad range of Court of Protection work protecting vulnerable clients who do not have the mental capacity to make their own decisions in relation to financial matters or otherwise. Often cases involve clients who have suffered serious, life-changing injuries or severe clinical negligence.

This is one of the leading teams in the UK with an impressive reputation. They are looking for an experienced Solicitor or Associate to strengthen their offering whilst leading and mentor less experienced members of the team.
