As a member of the company secretarial team you will assist in providing company secretarial services to client companies as part of the Guildford office Business Services and Accounting department. The role will include compliance tasks for a portfolio of client companies, along with associated administrative tasks such as processing of invoices, assisting in on-boarding new clients.

Prepare and review as required all relevant documentation such as;

· compliance statements and dormant accounts to file on-line at Companies House

· all relevant statutory documentation with appropriate and accurate board minutes

· maintaining and updating statutory registers

· billing clients as appropriate

· dividend vouchers and dividend waiver documentation

· stock transfer documents in a timely and accurate manner making sure that stamp duty is paid within the appropriate time limits

· new client forms and engagement letters for Company Secretarial work

· Understands client requirements and responds efficiently and effectively to requests

· Reflects the firm's policies and standards and promotes the brand wherever possible

is aware of fee levels, work in progress and recovery rates for their client portfolio

· Understands the risks involved in taking on new clients and the documentation and evidence we require to mitigate those risks

Profile

· Competent at relevant computer applications, Excel, Word and Blueprint (now Diligent Entity)

Company secretarial compliance knowledge having willingness and ability to study a professional qualification (ICSA).

· Basic technical and analytical skills

· Good numeracy and literacy skills

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Proven planning and prioritising skills

· Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus

· Able to demonstrate problem solving skills

· Self-motivated and able to apply relevant skills to new scenarios
