In-House Commercial Associate
Birmingham | £55,000 to £65,000
A leading national firm is seeking an In-House Commercial Associate to join their team in their Birmingham office. The In-House Commercial Associate will act purely for the firm, and applications are accepted from both full-time and part-time candidates for this permanent role.
The Role
There are several responsibilities that fall under the remit of the In-House Commercial Associate, including:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including matters relating to purchase, supply, production, consultancy, marketing, IP and technology, and more.
- Supporting the team in establishing specialist outsourcing arrangements.
- Assisting with the procurement activities of the firm.
- Data protection.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the position will have the following characteristics and experience:
- At least 3 years PQE and broad commercial experience.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgment regarding contracts and risk.
- The ability to support on outsourcing and procurement activities.
Salary and Benefits
This firm is willing to offer a salary of between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum. The successful candidate will also enjoy the standard hybrid working arrangement that the firm uses. No chargeable hours targets are associated with this position, either.
