Experienced Family Lawyer, 5+ PQE, Dorset, Up to £50,000 (DOE). This successful firm in the South West are actively seeking the addition of an experienced Family Lawyer to join their growing team, either on a part-time or permanent basis from January 2022.

THE ROLE:
A career enhancing opportunity has become available for a talented individual to work in our client’s well established and highly respected Dorset firm. The appointed Family Lawyer will have a broad knowledge in all aspects of Family Law, specifically in matrimonial proceedings and financial provision as this will complement the teams existing caseload. You will be responsible for handling a broad caseload of Family matters to include, divorce, financial matters, domestic violence and abuse, child proceedings and cohabitation disputes. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm, and in the development and growth of the Family department. Support from a Legal Assistant will be available for the successful Lawyer.

THE CANDIDATE:
The firm are looking for qualified Solicitors who will have gained at least 5+ years’ experience within family law, experience in private children law would be an advantage but this is not essential. The applicant must be committed to providing helpful support and well-informed advice whilst being sympathetic and approachable. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision, good organisational and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
