Our client, a statutory non-departmental public body, are seeking a Senior Associate to join the legal enforcement team for a 4 month fixed term contract.
This regulatory body is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. To help them achieve their vision of a fairer Britain, they have a range of enforcement powers that they use to challenge unlawful policies or practices, highlight important issues, clarify the law and protect people's rights.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team which has responsibility for exercising these enforcement powers to achieve widespread, positive change.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of conducting research and/or gathering evidence, analysing and evaluating findings to reach reasoned decisions
Ability to analytically examine technical information, investigate evidence and assess compliance with the Equality Act 2010, under supervision
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, in particular where there is potential for reputational risk
High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
The role is based in Manchester city centre with a hybrid of remote and office working arrangements.
