Internal Auditor

Up to £30,000 dependant upon experience

Preston

Our client an award winning and well-established Law firm are looking for an experienced internal auditor to join their Quality, Risk & Compliance Team. You will have an ability to work to deadlines and to be organised and methodical in work, assisting the lawyers in the firm to do their jobs. The role will require some travel to our clients' other offices as an when required.

As the newly appointed Internal Auditor your role will include but not be exclusive to:

  • Assuming full responsibility for the internal audits across all legal and business support departments.
  • Preparing audit reports that accurately summarise the most significant control weaknesses, unmitigated risks and resulting impacts to the firm
  • Co-ordinating the development of corrective action plans.
  • Co-ordinating and facilitating ISO visits.
  • Being responsible for Client Feedback surveys and dealing with incoming feedback.
  • Dealing with CQS and WIQS Scheme Reaccreditations.
  • Assisting with risk management processes and looking at areas for practice improvement.
  • Managing third party registers and due diligence processes for suppliers.
  • Organising Panel reviews and accreditations.

To be considered for the Internal Auditor role you will:

  • Demonstrate Previously Audit experience within a professional services environment
  • Have ISO and/or Lexcel Experience
  • Demonstrate Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have an ability to build good relationships with clients, partners, fee earners and business support staff
  • A professional auditing qualification (Desirable)
  • Law firm experience (Desirable)
