Senior Paralegal/Legal Officer (Maternity Cover)

Our client a global science and tech organisation are looking to hire a Senior Paralegal/Legal Officer to cover maternity leave starting asap until June 2022

The Purpose of the role will be to provide high quality legal support to the Deputy General Counsel Director and wider Legal teams on a global basis.

Principal accountabilities
* Maintenance of document management systems for the divisional Legal team
* Reviewing and advising on NDAs
* Development and Coordination of training programmes relating to divisional Legal across the businesses, and presenting of topics during these programmes
* Acting as a key contact and coordinator for translators of legal documents and assisting them in understanding the terminology
* Management of the external counsel database
* Support the global teams on initiatives and projects within legal
* Providing high quality and timely legal administrative support to the Legal team
* To take on any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities
* To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

Previous Experience within and supporting a busy legal team is essential (ideally In-house).

This role will pay either £35ph (via an approved Umbrella) or £25ph + holiday pay PAYE.

The role will likely be a hybrid of remote and office based work and our client is happy to be flexible when deciding upon how this might best work.
