They are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their teams either in Beverley or Grimsby where the Commercial Property teams work both regionally and nationally.

Their national and local client base extends across many sectors including housebuilders and commercial developers, social housing providers, large scale retailers and investors, banks, government bodies, energy companies, health care providers and charities as well as educational establishments.

The work is varied and challenging but they have an experienced and supportive team of over 45 members which spans across their 4 offices.

The team prides itself on collaborative team working ensuring each team member is appropriately supported and progressed to facilitate the growth of the team member and as a consequence, the department.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor / Senior Solicitor to contribute to the achievement of the department's goals and objectives and to maximise departmental profitability.

The role will involve supporting Partners and other Solicitors in providing Commercial Property legal advice to the Firm's clients.

The successful candidate will be expected to handle a broad range of quality commercial property work for a variety of clients and as well as managing their own caseload, will be expected to take part in business development activities.

The role will provide the successful candidate with dynamic and varied opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Duties will include
Carrying out a broad range of commercial property matters in a technically strong, collaborative and team focused manner.
Ensuring that all matters are conducted in the client's best interests and in accordance with the highest professional standards and applicable "quality" standards at all times.
Assisting in training and supervision and mentoring of junior fee earners and trainees as well as training initiatives where required.
Assisting with the continued growth of the Commercial Property team as well as contributing to business development events and initiatives.
Working with the Partners in the department together with other team members to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to all clients.
Responsible for achieving financial targets agreed with Head of Department and ensuring good financial hygiene is delivered within own caseload.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Solicitor.
Skills Required
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience within Commercial Property or alternatively other relevant experience demonstrating the candidate's ability to perform the role.
An ability to work to deadlines and achieve billing, time recording, and fee-earning targets together with an understanding of good financial hygiene.
That they are commercially astute, technically strong and keep themselves current on key legal and business news.
Effective skills in communication, organisation and client relations.
An ability to work collaboratively within a strong and supportive team.
Committed to providing a professional, quality service in a timely manner and respond effectively to requests from internal and external clients.
The ambition to succeed and commitment to departmental development and client relationship management.
