A great new opportunity for an experienced private children's solicitor or legal executive at a nationally renowned Lancashire legal firm offering a highly competitive salary in a Legal 500 recommended department! A perfect role for candidates with at least 2/3 years PQE working in this area.
The role will require you to work largely on privately funded children cases, meaning extensive knowledge and experience on the Children Act is essential. You will be expected to have advocacy experience, and it is important that you are confident in conducting your own advocacy. The role will expect you to keep up to date with legislation changes and best practices and ensure that all billable work is kept in a up to date and organised record.
The ideal candidate will have around 2+ years PQE working in private children's law and be able to hit the ground running straight away. The firm is looking for a well-organised individual who is able to meet targets and can handle their own caseload independently, although there will be a fantastic support system. It is vital that candidates want to make a difference in the lives of clients, as some of the cases will be complex and potentially distressing.
