Great new opportunity for an experienced childcare solicitor at one of the most respected legal firms in Lancashire, offering a very competitive salary and the chance to work in a Legal 500 rated department! The role is perfect for candidates with at least 2/3 years PQE working in public childcare.

The role will entail handling your own caseload of publicly funded childcare cases, meaning that experience handling cases of this nature previously is essential. The role will require you to have the ability to advocate for cases yourself and it is important that you have got confidence in your advocacy abilities. You will be expected to keep up to date with regards to the laws surrounding childcare and to constantly ensure that you comply with the best practices surrounding this.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE experience in public childcare and be a confident and experienced advocate. It is essential that candidates are able to be empathetic and want to help their clients as many of these cases will concern vulnerable people and at times be distressing. You should have the ability to hit the ground running and work independently straight away, and have the desire/ability to meet targets.

The role will offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 alongside a generous benefits package. You will also be given the ability to work in a highly regarded Legal 500 rated Family Department at one of the leading law firms in Lancashire in their Blackburn office.
