Corporate Knowledge Lawyer

A long-established London law firm with a diverse range of clients including individuals, families, businesses, financial services, educational and not-for-profit organisations.

THE ROLE

The firm's market-leading Corporate team is looking for an experienced corporate knowledge lawyer or a senior corporate lawyer who is keen to move into a knowledge role, to provide professional and technical legal support to fee-earners and clients.

The work will include:

Preparing and implementing an ongoing Knowledge Plan aligned to the team's business plan and leading on the professional development activity within the team.

Working with the Corporate Knowledge Partner you will handle inter alia:

Keeping standard forms and precedents up to date to include liaising with outside information providers.

Ensuring that the fee earners' knowledge of the KM content and systems is up to date and managing and promoting the use of internal systems accordingly.

Additionally, you will deal with Know How and Marketing, keeping the team updated with the latest developments (including legislative and case law) and the progress of draft legislation.

You will be responsible for encouraging the sharing of knowledge to include mentoring of more junior fee earners where required.

You will also write bulletins and work with team members to write articles for publication and build contacts with the editorial teams of relevant publications where possible.

ABOUT YOU

A corporate lawyer with 7pqe+ gained in a well regarded corporate team, PSL experience would be helpful but is not essential.

You will be looking for a part time opportunity, working 3 days a week.

With excellent organisational skills, you will have a strong academic background and be proactive in seeking out thought-leadership ideas, whether to improve ways of working or in relation to business development initiatives.
