SALARY: up to c£35,000 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
Looking for a change? Our client is currently looking for an experienced Legal Cashier with 3 years’ experience of working within a busy finance team. The appointed Senior Legal Cashier will join a busy team and manage all financial transactions generated by the firm as well as providing general account assistance to the wider firm. You will play a key role in driving the department to further success over the coming months and years. In this role as a Legal Cashier, your key duties will include:

• Account Reconciliations and investigations any discrepancies
• Processing transactions
• General cashier functions and administration duties
• Dealing with creditors and debtors
• Payroll, invoicing, and credit control
• Liaising with external and internal departments
• Contract Maintenance
• Cashiering, banking, and ad hoc cheques
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports

The successful candidate will have excellent written & verbal communication skills, the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise your workload where needed as this will be the key to being successful in this role. You will have prior experience of working to SRA accounts rules.
