Our client, the London office of a global Investment Bank are looking to hire a talented lending lawyer, with a focus on acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. This is an exciting, well-rounded role which gives exposure to broad range of lending transactions within a top City team.
The Role
- Assisting the Investment Bank and deal teams with legal and regulatory advice pertaining to a range of transactions, but particularly leveraged and acquisition financings.
- To advise on legal risks, and to produce and draft agreements, letters and other forms of transactional documentation.
- To keep abrest of regulatory and legal developments in the UK and across the EMEA region, and to advise the business on continued adherence to these.
The Ideal Candidate
- Must be a qualified lawyer in the UK or common law jurisdiction.
- Must have strong practical experience handling leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. Must have experience drafting leveraged documentation.
- Must be a highly competent drafter of legal documents and contracts.
- Ideally has some experience working within a financial services organisation (either In-House or via secondment).
