Legal Assistant

Salary negotiable + Benefits

Our client a well-established regional Law Firm with offices across Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to their Family team in North Yorkshire.

This opportunity would suit a legal secretary, ideally with family experience but this isn't essential and full training will be provided.

You will be working in a friendly family team supporting fee earners and your role will include but not be exclusive to:

  • Drafting legal documents
  • Diary management for the family fee earner
  • Preparation of client correspondence using audio typing, word processing or digital dictation
  • Providing a high level of administrative support to clients on the telephone and face to face when required

You must have experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant preferably in Family Law.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed firm who are passionate about giving back to their local community and raising money for charity.
That's not all, in addition to a competitive salary and fantastic career opportunities, you will receive

  • 23 day's holiday + bank holidays + additional holidays over Christmas when the office is closed
  • Additional holidays as a reward for long service
  • Stakeholder pension
  • Company-paid NHS top-up scheme membership
  • Regular ad-hoc reward and recognition, colleague events and well being days
