Associate - Construction

The Role:

This top-ranking and award-winning firm are seeking a Construction Associate 2-5 PQE to join their London office.

This is a unique, exciting chance to join a leading UK Law firm where a lot of the work is international.

• The team is seeking an Associate in Non-Contentious Construction. The ideal individual would have previous experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team.
  
  
• For this role, you should have gained the majority of your prior experience in non-contentious construction law (standard form construction contracts and some experience of commercial and/or housing development work).
  
  
• Ideally, you'll have a solid working knowledge of the various standard form contracts, including JCT, NEC and EPC forms, their standard amendments, and market norms.
  
  
• The firm would want to see a willingness to take on more bespoke, complex agreements and/or typical development arrangements with appropriate supervision.
  
  
• (Experience in advisory/ disputes avoidance work is welcomed, but the focus of the role is for a non-contentious candidate and so this is not essential)
