A brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Commercial IT lawyer to join a well known Consumer Brand with offices in Bedfordshire.
This role will take on a large amount of responsibility within the team and organisation.

Description
The role of Legal Counsel - Commercial IT will have the following responsibilities:
- Take legal ownership of the organisations IT technology contracts and be a key cog in major projects, including transformation.
- As the primary legal point of contract for all matters GDPR, provide clear advice and guidance on the Data Protection Act 2018, as well as overseeing the companies compliance programme
- Provide support on general consumer law; dealing with customer terms and conditions, website terms and conditions and to support the Customer Services Team.
Profile
Suitable candidates will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualified solicitor in the UK or relevant jurisdiction with a minimum of 4/5 yrs PQE.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with strong focus on IT/Technology.
- Experience of operating within a fast paced In-House organisation will be highly beneficial.
- Strong Data Protection experience.
