Senior Legal Counsel (4 month contract)

A FTSE 100 company is looking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel as they seek to build on their e-commerce capabilities. With a succinct focus on Data Protection and Privacy in the UK and internationally, you will report directly to the Legal Director and will support senior stakeholders across a diversity of business units as well as global functions.

With a proven general commercial background, you will additionally possess M&A experience and be able to effectively navigate antitrust laws.

Additionally, you will be expected to advise on consumer law and e-commerce related topics and provide insight on the continually evolving e-commerce regulatory landscape.

Our client is aiming to utilise their capabilities in digital data and analytics to enhance its speed and growth. As such, you will be comfortable working at pace, commercially minded and used to collaborating within a global multinational environment whilst demonstrating a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity.

With a minimum of 8 years PQE, you will also be expected to deputise for the Legal Director when needed.
