JOB TITLE: Legal Cashier
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 12 months’
LOCATION: Greater Manchester
SALARY: £Competitive
THE ROLE:
This role is best suited to an ambitious Legal Cashier with around 12 months experience within a previous legal role, to join this firm on a permanent basis. The appointed Legal Cashier will provide a high level of support to the accounts department in the provision of financial services and support to the wider teams offering a high level of support to the Clinical Negligence teams. In this role as a Legal Assistant, your key duties will include, operating the firm’s accounting system, banking, cheques, daily postings, telegraphic transfers, supplier invoices and petty cash. The successful Legal Cashier will have good knowledge of accounting principles as well as working knowledge of solicitor accounts rules.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have excellent written & verbal communication skills, the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise your workload where needed as this will be the key to being successful in this role. You will play a key role in driving the department to further success over the coming months and years.
