Your new role

This In-House Commercial Legal Counsel role will see you play a strategically important role for the business. You will be joining a well established in-house function that plays a pivotal role in terms of the ongoing success of the organisation. Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will work on a truly interesting mix of work. This will include general commercial contractual matters, procurement contracts, IT agreements and IP contracts. You will also advise on data protection, joint ventures and consumer law matters. You will also play a role in advising the organisation on its exposure to risk and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be a commercial lawyer with 5+ years' pqe. You will have wide ranging commercial experience gained within either an in-house setting or a well regarded law firm. You should possess strong communication skills and be able to build effective working relationships both within the in-house legal team and throughout the wider business. Applications are invited from commercial lawyers looking to work part-time. Whilst this is a permanent role, applications are also invited from commercial lawyers who may wish to consider the opportunity initially on a fixed term contract basis.
