ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Legal, you will support the business on commercial contracts with suppliers, with a focus on digital/digital gaming contracts. Having emerged from the pandemic, this company is in massive expansion mode and growing rapidly. You would have excellent exposure to the C-suite and senior, key stakeholders and be part of a wider legal and business affairs team. Specifics of the role will include;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements for:
- Digital gaming providers;
- Sportsbook and sports data suppliers;
- Platform partners, joint ventures and white label arrangements;
- Digital content suppliers and payment providers;
- IT, including SAAS
You will also advise on a wider range of legal issues including gaming regulatory matters (alongside the Compliance team), marketing contracts, IP issues as well as supporting the Company Secretarial team and manging external counsel.
ABOUT YOU
You will come from either private practice where you have had exposure to gaming/gambling clients, or from a similar in-house background where you understand the nuances of the industry.
General commercial experience (particularly exposure to marketing) would be considered if you have an interest in the industry. You must have excellent communication skills and relish building relationships and working autonomously and as part of a team.
