Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for a high-quality caseload? Do you want to work in one of Yorkshires longest established law firms? If so, this role could be the one for you!

Our client is an established, full-service high street practice based in Scunthorpe.
The firm has been established in the region for over one hundred years and as such has forged strong ties with local communities and boasts an impressive reputation. The Private Client department is busy and as a result is looking for an experienced and skilled solicitor/fee earner to join the team in Scunthorpe.

Due to the department's busy nature, the successful solicitor can hit the ground running with a full private client caseload, including wills and trusts; inheritance tax planning; powers of attorney, including EPAs and LPAs; administration of estates; court of protection and more. Furthermore, since the firm is looking to expand, there is the chance to work with Partners to develop new business and grow the department further, making this a great opportunity for an ambitious Fee Earner in who is looking for a varied and challenging role.

The firm's excellent reputation lends itself to an impressive client base, meaning the caseload will be a mixture of private and high net worth matters. The nature of the role also allows for extensive client contact, enabling the successful solicitor to develop lasting relationships with both new and existing clients. Client care is therefore important, as such, the role is suited to a Fee Earner dedicated to upholding this value.

Our client envisages the successful candidate to be 2 or more years PQE, and while not necessary, a STEP qualification would be highly desirable. However, more important than an exact PQE level is a candidate who is technically strong and enthusiastic about private client work. The firm is therefore happy to consider individuals who fall outside of this bracket yet can demonstrate the necessary abilities and enthusiasm for the role. As well as being committed to its clients, the firm is also committed to its employees, and as a result, is willing to offer flexible working or part-time hours to the right candidate.

So if you are a Private Client Fee Earner looking for a role that will offer you high-quality and varied work, a chance to develop business, and the opportunity to build a name for yourself in the area, why not apply?
