Conveyancing Assistant in the Plot Sales Team - Bristol
Our client is one of the UK's fastest growing law firms . They are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their Plot Sales team based in their Bristol office, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. The Plot Sales team advise a wide range of house builders and developers, ranging from those in the top 20 in the country to smaller builders. The team deals with the full range of associated work including part-exchange; setting up estate management schemes; and helping clients to navigate the complexities of the Help-to-Buy scheme.
Their Conveyancing Assistants are vital part of the team, providing crucial support to the wider Conveyancing team, supporting their caseloads and assisting in a secretarial capacity. Working with top clients, this is a wonderful opportunity to further develop your legal career with future progression available.
Your new role
As a Conveyancing Assistant you will support the work of the Conveyancing team and supporting the Team Leader with general administration tasks. You will be working closely with Conveyancers and Legal Administrators to ensure a first class service is provided.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and third parties, responding to voicemail messages and correspondence in a prompt manner.
- Amend and collate letters with enclosures in line with set deadlines, ensuring sign off as appropriate by the appropriate Lawyer, take direction from the Matter Lawyers where appropriate within the life of a transaction.
- Ensure that exchange and completion dates are met and you will work with the Matter Lawyers, Team Manager and others within the wider Real Estate Group where required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must have at least one years' experience working in conveyancing within a leading and top law firm. Being personable, organised, and efficient in communication is also highly important to the success of this team and this role.
