A leading firm in the Liverpool area is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier who can join its team on a full-time, permanent contract. Offering a modern approach alongside a vibrant culture, this firm is focused on achieving outstanding results for their clients.

About the Role

The Legal Cashier will handle the following responsibilities:

• Acting as part of a busy Accounts Department and reporting to the Accounts Manager.
• Ensuring full compliance with the SRA Account Rules.
• Handling daily bank reconciliations.
• Office and client cheque requests and banking.
• Processing purchase ledger invoices.
• Processing petty cash and credit card payments.
• Reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end procedures.
• Processing and reconciling Legal Aid agency BACS payments, including monthly payments.
• Dealing with queries and other account duties, where needed.

About You

To be considered for the Legal Cashier position, candidates should have the following profile:

• Prior experience as Legal Cashier.
• Comfortable dealing with the aforementioned daily activities and responsibilities.
• Highly numerate, with excellent communication skills.
