In house Legal Counsel

THE ROLE
There is a current need to recruit an in house counsel to the commercial and procurement team. This role will incorporate drafting and negotiating procurement agreements, including service, goods, consultancy, agency, high value material outsourcing deals and general commercial agreements, and advising on how to manage any associated risks and strengthen relationships with suppliers. You'll possess (or have the skills to develop) good knowledge of data protection, competition law and IP advice for goods/ services agreements. You'll also need exceptional commercial awareness, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and ood change management skills

ABOUT YOU
You'll be a qualified lawyer (solicitor or qualified by experience) with good experience in corporate law. We are recruiting for 2 positions and so your experience level may be from NQ-1 level up to 4 or 5 PQE to have gained the knowledge required to undertake this role You'll need to be confident and professional, and have exceptional communication skills. Whilst you'll be part of a wider team, you'll also need to work under your own initiative, under pressure and to tight timescales, and so you'll need excellent organisational skills.
