THE ROLE
This is an opportunity to join successful and high profile name as the General Counsel
You will be expected to work at board level, managing a small legal team advising on both commercial and regulatory matters including:-
Company/commercial matters including regulatory matters, consumer rights, GDPR, bids, tenders and contracts
Responsible for managing and overseeing delivery of the Company's compliance monitoring programme,
Assisting the business with with legal and regulatory issues handling; asset finance, credit broking and insurance distribution activities
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this vacancy, you will have c 5+ PQE with a strong commercial background and the management skills necessary to develop and manage an in house legal function.
Candidates will ideally have relevant in house experience in the financial services or consumer credit sector
The role is based in Hampshire and you will be expected to be office based c 3 days per week minimum
