Our client, a global FMCG company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for a maternity cover lasting 12 months. The contract will be an FTC and the client would like someone to start ideally at the beginning of February.

As senior legal counsel your role will be largely compliance and regulatory focused. Day to day work will include providing legal advice to Corporate and EMEA Regulatory Affairs functions regarding product claims, product formulation, product registration and certification. You will also be expected to assist the EMEA legal team on a broad range of commercial matters, and assist in managing litigation.

The ideal candidate will be at least 7 years PQE and have previous in-house experience in a regulated sector. Experience in liaising with Regulators, Governmental departments and trade associations would be advantageous. Experience in the food and beverages industry will also be favoured.

The client is willing to be very flexible with working from home arrangements, and the role has the possibility to be largely remote.
