We are delighted to be assisting Border to Coast Pensions Partnership in the permanent appointment of an Assistant Company Secretary.

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is a collaboration of 11 Local Government Pension Funds with a total asset value of £55 billion. This FCA-regulated investment company manages assets through both internal (direct securities) and external (funds) management, with a number of investment vehicles, including an Authorised Contractual Scheme.

Reporting into the Company Secretary, you will have responsibility for a range of tasks, including supporting the Board and its committees, a full range of company secretarial matters, as well as responsibility for the annual governance programme and policies.

While fast-paced, this is a genuinely collaborative and enabling working environment. You will have direct access to senior stakeholders across the business.

Practical experience is absolutely key to this role, as is the ability to nurture excellent stakeholder relationships.  

We are keen to speak to individuals who are ICSA qualified (or part qualified) and currently work or have recently worked in a similar capacity so can hit the ground running.  Experience of working in an FCA regulated environment would be useful but is not essential.

It is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to join the business as soon as possible.
