Our client is a prestigious London law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Junior Facilities Assistant to provide a first-class office support service to the firm and its clients.

38 hours per week in a shift pattern, covering the hours 8am-6pm. The salary on offer is £22,000 + Benefits (plus occasional paid overtime). As expected from such a role, you will be required to be in the office for 5 days a week.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Facilities Assistant will include:
- Collecting, opening, distributing external mail
- Collection and distribution of internal mail
- Franking outgoing mail
- Maintaining office equipment/ photocopiers. I.e., printer jams, making sure they are stocked with paper
- Copying documents when requested – (cover for Print Room operative.)
- Scanning documents
- Distributing stationary by hand delivery
- Monitoring boardrooms – e.g., Air con, lighting
- To make local deliveries
- Moving heavy boxes/ furniture
- Replacing bulbs
- Cleaning recycling / shredding bags
- Distributing weekly paper delivery to each department
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
The Requirements as a Junior Facilities Assistant include:
- Previous office administration experience would be desirable
- Experience of having a ‘Saturday job’ or work experience
- Team player and willing to learn
- Great attitude and application to work
- Proficient on MS Office applications
- Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
