Our client is a prestigious London law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Junior Facilities Assistant to provide a first-class office support service to the firm and its clients.

38 hours per week in a shift pattern, covering the hours 8am-6pm. The salary on offer is £22,000 + Benefits (plus occasional paid overtime). As expected from such a role, you will be required to be in the office for 5 days a week.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Facilities Assistant will include:

  • Collecting, opening, distributing external mail
  • Collection and distribution of internal mail
  • Franking outgoing mail
  • Maintaining office equipment/ photocopiers. I.e., printer jams, making sure they are stocked with paper
  • Copying documents when requested – (cover for Print Room operative.)
  • Scanning documents
  • Distributing stationary by hand delivery
  • Monitoring boardrooms – e.g., Air con, lighting
  • To make local deliveries
  • Moving heavy boxes/ furniture
  • Replacing bulbs
  • Cleaning recycling / shredding bags
  • Distributing weekly paper delivery to each department
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

The Requirements as a Junior Facilities Assistant include:

  • Previous office administration experience would be desirable
  • Experience of having a ‘Saturday job’ or work experience
  • Team player and willing to learn
  • Great attitude and application to work
  • Proficient on MS Office applications
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
