Our client is looking to appoint a Duty Accredited Criminal Solicitor to join their office in Durham.

Based in our client's successful Criminal department you will work hard to deliver high quality advice to clients at the Police Station and Magistrate's Court.

As the newly appointed Criminal Defence Solicitor you will have the proven ability to work in the police station and Magistrates Court along with the preparation of cases in the Crown Court. You will always strive to get the best results for clients, by taking accurate and timely instructions.
You will work as part of a successful Team in representing clients throughout the criminal justice system.
This role requires the newly appointed Criminal Solicitor to work on the Rota for Court and Police station out of hours, therefore a flexibility with working hours is essential.
To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be an experienced Criminal Defence (Duty Accredited) Solicitor with a minimum of -3 years PQE
  • Demonstrate the proven ability to work independently
  • Have the proven ability to support and develop junior team members of the team
