Legal Counsel – Commercial Solicitor

Our client is looking for an In-house Legal Counsel to come in for a 6 -12 month fixed term contract. The key to the role will be dealing with the day to day legal matters faced by the business. A candidate with a background with skills and experience in company commercial and commercial contract law is required.

Based in Brighton, the successful candidate will be dealing with legal issues including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of complex commercial contracts
• Data protection, regulatory, compliance, anti-bribery and other similar legal matters
• Other general company commercial and corporate legal matters
• Other exposure to important and complex transactional work will be provided as the role develops

You will need to show that you are self-sufficient, can hit the ground running and stand on your own two feet.

Our client envisages that candidates with 2+ years PQE plus will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
