M&A Counsel - 6mths+ - £700-820 per day

A really exciting opportunity for a Corporate/M&A Lawyer to join a private equity-backed global services business with ambitious acquisition and growth plans for 2022. This will initially be a six month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Central London and 3 days/week will be required in the office.

About the Role

Working as part of a small but extremely talented and dedicated legal team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the company's acquisition activity as they look to maintain their recent record of impressive growth.

Reporting into a Regional Counsel, your day-to-day remit will include managing corporate finance and M&A deals, and assisting with funding matters. The postholder will also take responsibility for ensuring transactions comply with group policies and assisting with filing corporate records and legal documentation.

In addition to that, you will regularly be required to get involved in other general commercial matters and ad-hoc queries that are presented to the legal team.

About You

The role requires a M&A specialist with a minimum of 7 years' PQE, although all applications from all levels will be considered on merit. Approaches from highly experienced candidates who are currently available in the interim market are strongly welcomed.
