Compliance Analyst - The internal compliance, risk and regulatory team of this highly respected leading law firm is looking for a compliance professional to join the department. Ideally you will have proven experience in a compliance environment preferably in a professional services company such as a law firm. The team undertakes a huge variety of work and there is real scope for progression.

- Reporting to: Head of Compliance and Risk
- Background: Ideally some experience of working in a risk and compliance capacity. However, the team will also consider those who do not necessarily have experience in this area, but wish to develop a career in compliance, though some proof of exposure to compliance work is preferred.
A varied role with an established national firm
This is a varied role within a busy national firm. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and an analytical approach to their work.
Managing risk and compliance and monitoring behaviours and practices within the firm is a key part of the role. Being able to collect and analyse data is also crucial. Observing and extrapolating trends is vital, as is keeping up to speed with the latest regulatory developments so that the firm remains compliant.
Opportunities to be involved in training and strategy
On occasion, members of the team are required to give training seminars and presentations to fee earners including key stakeholders. A compliance analyst must also be capable of identifying incidents or issues which may require escalation. The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills.
